With your shoulder blades glowing in moonlight.

Lips pursing together making a presence of their own.

Irises piercing through me I see your emotion sweep across your face.

Body reacting as though a symphony to an orchestrator.

Grandiose. Up. Down. Passion. Up. Down.

Sweet melodies tell their own stories.

You wince in emotion, eyes squinted, fighting back a tear.

As we both collapse in one another’s arm in an overdue embrace.

A love’s longing unmet for far too long.

  1. Very interesting and what an experience you are having. Hope you have taken pictures of the trip for they will tell a story too.
Were your grandparents Susie and John Schulkers amd a great aunt Judy Schulers Sharman, married to O>W> Sharman? Let me know because O.W. S. was my cousin.
